Sunday Morning
Nursery
0 - 1 Year Olds
Sunday Morning, Evening and during Family Night
A "Call-System" has been installed recently. Each family will receive a number when they drop-off a nursery-aged child, as well as any doctors, EMT's or nurses. If a parent or medical help is needed in the nursery immediately, a small number is flashed in the corner of the overhead screen that is used during worship. This lessons distractions of searching for parents in the congregation.
New Life tags have been given to every parent to be attached to their child's bag. This has helped the nursery volunteers not get diapers and bottles mixed up. We also ask that every parent places a name-tag on the back of their child.

Little Lambs
2-year Old Ministry
This nursery ministry offers 2-year olds the opportunity to be taught by an adult shepherd, and elementary kid helpers. The children will learn about God through simple story times, hands-on activities and songs. This ministry is offered during both a.m. worship services.

Children In Worship
3-4 year Old Ministry
This ministry offers an age appropriate worship for the kids who are in pre-school.  The kids learn the basics of how to worship and go through the seasons of the church.  These lessons are taught and supplemented through crafts.  This ministry meets in the Chapel.

CHURCH SCHOOL

"Walk With Me"
Grades Pre-K - 3rd
This RCA curriculum offers our children the opportunity to know God more in a classroom setting. Each class is around 8 children and is taught by two adult teachers. This curriculum uses a variety of teaching methods to reach children of all learning styles. Currently the children are studying New Testament stories.

"Power X-Press"
Grades 4th - 6th
This curriculum centers around a "Workshop Rotation Model" where children are divided into small groups with an adult shepherd. Each week the small group travels to a workshop (music, art, game, story, science, video, and computer) where they are taught by an adult teacher through a specific learning style. This curriculum offers children the opportunity to learn through a variety of teaching methods. It also provides an opportunity for volunteers with different gifts to get involved without having to commit the entire year.

FAMILY NIGHT ON WEDNEDAY EVENINGS

Promiseland
Grades K - 5th.
6:15 -6:30 - Music
6:30 - 7:00 - Large Group Storytime (according to grade)
7:00 - 7:30 - Small Group shepherd time in classrooms

This fall the children started off learning about what the Bible means as a whole. Kinders and 1st graders are studying why the Bible is the greatest book - even greater than Dr. Seuss! 2nd and 3rd graders are learning that the Bible is like a Light, a Sharp Sword and like a Seed. The 4th and 5th graders are being taught that the Bible is final authority, gives practical wisdom, and answers questions about life.

Soon the kids will begin studying the characteristics of God. Kinders and 1st graders will learn through Psalms that God knows them, hears them and cares for them. The 2nd and 3rd graders will learn that God is Sovereign, All Knowing, and Eternal. The 4th and 5th graders will study God as Truth (Evolution, Other Religions and Witchcraft).

Kids Evangelism Explosion
6th Graders
6:30 - 7:00 - Large Group Lesson
7:00 - 7:30 - Meet with your mentor

This ministry provides the opportunity for 6th graders to truly understand the basic salvation message. They will be given the opportunity to receive Christ as their personal Savior, if they have not already. Following this, they will be taught how to lead someone else to Christ through skits, music, bible memory, hands-on-activities and the personal relationship with their adult mentor. The children will memorize scripture verses that will be used to lead others to Christ. At the end of the year they will go out into the community and practice evangelizing to others in a safe environment. This is called "On the Job Training."  This ministry is a great way to prepare our youth for Junior High and High School
