Kids Kare Ministries
Sunday Morning:
Sunday mornings are filled with various opportunities for all the children of New Life to be guided on their journeys with Christ!
Nursery is provided for kids from birth up to 2 years old and is provided at every service as well as during the Sunday School/Adult Learning hour.
Little Lambs is for children age 2 years old and is provided during both morning services. Children read stories from the Bible and make crafts which correlate with the story.
Children In Worship is for children ages 3-5 years old and is provided during both morning services. Children are led by an adult storyteller, and participate in their own worship service as well as make crafts/participate in activities which correlate to the story.
Sunday School is from 10:00-10:45am and involves all children from Pre-K through 6th grade.
Wednesday Evening:
Our Family Night Meal begins at 5:45 and concludes at 6:15 when our teaching ministries begin. All families are welcome to join us for a time of fellowshipping and "sharing bread". No need to feel the pressure of serving a delicious meal right before church... we've got it covered!
Children continue to be guided in developing good habits of prayer, worship, scripture memorization, bible reading, and church attendance through our Wednesday ministries. Our shepherds and volunteers work diligently to present the Bible in an effective way that transforms our children's lives.
Kid's Evangelism Explosion (Kid's EE) is a discipleship training program for children in 6th grade that clarifies the truth of the gospel message and helps children to internalize it for life, encourages a personal, daily walk with Jesus, and equips them to share it with others. Kid's EE uses a hands-on approach that allows each child to participate interactively in scripture learning, skits, crafts, cadences, and songs.
Promiseland is for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The evening begins with a large group storytelling session that creatively brings bible stories alive and helps children relate to God's teachings. The evening continues in a small group setting, where each child is intentionally shepherded by an adult committed to using his/her shepherding gift. The evening concludes with a time dedicating to worshipping God through music, movement, and creative expression.
We have implemented some additional components to our Promiseland activities to further guide our children on the right path:
-
Our Path Points programs motivates our children to continue developing the disciplines of scripture memorization and Bible reading. Parents and shepherds partner together to instill the love of these disciplines and help their children hide God's Word in their hearts and use them to light their path!
-
Service Projects are opportunities for our children to learn humility, impact the world around us, and share the love of Christ through various outreach and service projects. Several service projects are planned throughout the year.
