On Sunday the 8^th, the morning message presented us with a challenge to continue to grow in becoming the Missional Church that scripture describes.  The diagram shown here may help us understand the relationship that Christian commitment, discipleship, ministry and worship have to each other. 

If we are going around the diamond, as a baseball player would, there is a place to use the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given to us.  On the diagram this is the base line between second and third.

Do you know what your gifts are?  There are many ways to ways to do this; one is a short online assessment.  While there are many ways that are more specific, this general tool may give a glimpse into your gift mix and it doesn’t take long.  (Pastor Rick was done in less than 15 minutes.)  Based on your responses, feedback will be immediate.
